About Samuel Longman
Samuel Longman is a fully qualified Hearing Aid Audiologist and the founder of Alresford Hearing Studio. He is registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) and is a member of the British Society of Hearing Aid Audiologists (BSHAA).
His professional journey began with training at Mary Hare School for the Deaf and further work in the private hearing-care sector, where he developed a reputation for clear, empathetic patient care and technical excellence. In August 2019 he established his own independent practice so he could offer highly personalized audiology services, emphasizing transparency, trust, and ongoing support.
As the lead audiologist at Alresford Hearing Studio, he oversees diagnostics, hearing-aid fittings, ear-wax removal (including micro-suction), tinnitus management, repair/reprogramming services, and ongoing aftercare. He maintains direct relationships with leading hearing-device manufacturers, enabling him to tailor technology choices to each patient’s unique hearing profile and lifestyle.
Beyond his clinical work, he is committed to community education about hearing health, preventive care, and supporting those who live with hearing loss. His approach combines evidence-based practice with a patient-centred philosophy: no unnecessary upselling, clear explanations, and follow-up support long after the initial fitting.
